In Memory of Mossna “DJ Ammo” Varasteh

This GoFundMe has been created to help support the future of Mossna’s beloved daughter Ayla Ocean, who was the center of his world. All funds raised will go toward providing for his daughter’s well-being, education, and the life he worked so hard to build for her.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear friend and business partner, Mossna M. Varasteh, known to many as DJ Ammo. Mossna was more than a legendary figure in the nightlife world — he was a visionary, a mentor to all, and a true cornerstone of our community.

As a co-founder and partner at Dream Hospitality Group, Mossna helped shape and elevate the New York City hospitality scene, always bringing people together through music, creativity, and culture. But his impact stretched far beyond the DJ booth. He was a gentle giant with the biggest heart, someone who truly loved people. He constantly looked out for those around him, both in their careers and in their personal lives. He was the voice of reason, the one who checked in on everyone, who made sure you were okay. And through it all, he was the most grateful — never missing a chance to say thank you.

Above all, Mossna was a devoted father and husband. He loved his family more than anything in this world. Every ounce of work he put in, every late night, every long day was for them. They were his light, his reason and the joy of his life.

Mossna leaves behind his loving wife and sweetest 4-year-old daughter.
