Remembering Morgan "M.D." Donahue Phillips III

In September 2024, at the age of 28, my husband Morgan Donahue Phillips III was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer and given a 5 month prognosis. He fought with strength that you will not find in the average person. He was brave in the face of roadblocks, worst case scenarios, and no promising treatment for where his cancer spread. My favorite thing about Morgan is the way he let love guide him through the most daunting time of his life. His biggest motivation was to show up for his family and he did just that.

He passed away peacefully at home on April 6th, 2025 surrounded by his loved ones. As the Phillips family bands together to grieve this profound loss, we are also trying to navigate the looming financial burden of the chemotherapy, surgical procedures, and unexpected hospitalizations required for Morgan's care. In addition, donations will be used towards funeral expenses so that we can celebrate and honor Morgan's life, his love, and the impact he made on us all.
