Mom is resting in peace until resurrection morning. (March 29, 2025 - 1:25pm)
It's been a long, hard journey since mom's first stroke nearly 4 years ago. My dad and family friend Judy did an amazing job sitting with her and caring for her every single day. She recently had a couple more strokes that hit her hard. We were believing and claiming her miraculous healing and recovery, and we DID see some miraculous progress that defied the doctors' words. She began eating and drinking after they said she never would again, and she seemed more aware of us and what we were saying than she had in months. I'm so glad because I believe she was aware that her room was full of family in her last moments. Me, Dad, her dad, his wife, and Judy. Dad and I were holding her hands. I was holding her head to my chest, and Dad and I sang praise and worship songs to her every breath till the end. I'm so glad she wasn't alone when it happened. I was supposed to be speaking at a church 4 hours away on Friday and Sabbath, but God knew and had my engagement rescheduled last minute. Thank you all so much for your prayers. God is in control, and times are going to get harder and harder. The Lord, in His mercy, is allowing some to be put to rest during these times of tribulation.
I never like creating fundraisers, but loving friends and family have always asked if they can help and have come through during these tough times. My dad retired at the earliest age (62) to be able to care for Mom more, and her disability check has been taken away, so there's some financial burdens that need to be worked out in all of this. Thank you all so much for your love and support throughout this journey. Please keep us in your prayers ❤️
