In Loving Memory of Mohammed Salik Butt: Providing Clean Water as a Sadqa Jariyah

On the 15th of January 2025, we lost our beloved father, Mohammed Salik Butt, unexpectedly. During this incredibly difficult time, we’ve chosen to honor his memory with an act of charity that will continue to benefit others long after his passing. We are raising funds to build water wells in rural communities in Pakistan through the charity Al Qulub Trust, where access to clean water is a daily struggle.

This initiative is a Sadqa Jariyah—a continuous charity that will bring ongoing rewards for our father’s soul. The water wells provided by Al Qulub Trust will bring safe, clean water to families in need, improving health and sustaining entire communities.

As the Qur’an reminds us: “مَا نَقَصَ مَالٌ مِنْ صَدَقَةٍ”

“Wealth is not diminished by giving in charity.” (Sahih Muslim). With your help, we hope to create a lasting legacy of giving that not only benefits my father’s soul but also those in need.
