My name is Johnna, the grandmother of Miracle who lost her battle with life on 10/15/24 unexpectedly. My husband and I fought hard with the courts since her birth 7 weeks ago to bring her into our home. Her parents struggled with drug addictions, and unfortunately, she was born 3 weeks premature with those addictions. We spent countless days and hours with her in the hospital and were overly excited to finally bring her home.
This past week, we were starting to see some positive changes: more smiles, learning what tummy time was, and she made her first “coo” sound. Weight goals were met, and eating surely was picking up. She still had some inner struggles, but she knew we were here to help. With all our hard work and love, in the end, God still felt she needed to be with Him.
Yesterday, Miracle stopped breathing while taking her afternoon nap. 911 was called, and my husband immediately started CPR. The paramedics arrived, continued to work on her, and transported her to the hospital where they could not revive her. We lost our Angel, our little Miracle. God takes our young ones because their job is done on earth, and they are now able to walk beside Him. This is extremely hard on us, and we are all trying to come to the reality that she is alive in heaven.
We are asking for prayers for the family and any donations to offset funeral expenses and medical costs, as Miracle had none.
