This page has been set up in memory of Mike Webb. A number of people have reached out asking if there was a way to do something in remembrance of him. After speaking with Nigel Langford, we felt that setting up this page could simply exist as a place for anyone who wishes to make a small contribution, if they choose, as a gesture of remembrance.

This is not about funeral costs and it is not about asking people for money. We fully appreciate that times are hard and money is precious. This page exists purely as a platform for people to contribute something, no matter how small, towards remembering Mike.

Any contributions will go towards a flower arrangement for the funeral. If there is anything beyond that, it will be used for a small lasting tribute, such as a plaque, and a donation in Mike’s name to leukaemia care at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital, who were incredible in the care they gave Mike in his final weeks.

Mike meant an enormous amount to family and friends, and to the wider local football community in and around Exeter. He was someone who quietly gave his time, energy, and support to others without ever seeking recognition. He cared deeply about people, community, and giving people the chance to enjoy football in the right way. His impact on local football will be felt for many years to come.

Beyond football, Mike was simply unforgettable. He had a great sense of humour, a big personality, and a presence that never went unnoticed. He was a real character who left his mark on everyone he met. There was an aura about him that drew people in, and he will always be remembered for that.

There is absolutely no obligation to contribute — kind words, shared memories, and thoughts mean just as much. This page exists only because Mike meant so much to so many.
