It is with great sadness that we share, on October 13th, Mike Moore suffered cardiac arrest resulting in a spinal cord injury, severe brain damage, and inability to breathe on his own. After a week in the ICU on a ventilator in a medically induced coma and paralytics, Mike remained unresponsive and passed away on October 20, 2024 with his Wife, Barbara Moore, and family by his side. He was an organ donor and donated his liver and kidneys to someone in need.

Mike, a beloved husband, father, papa, son, brother, uncle, longtime member of the Newport community, a Supervisor at Georgia Pacific, loved his family wholeheartedly, and had a passion for hunting, fishing and restoring cars.

We invite you to support the Moore family during this difficult time so they can focus on surrounding his family with love and support. Your generosity will help with unexpected hospital and funeral costs, as well as, family expenses to provide support for their three youngest children of 10, 7 and 2 years old.
