In memory of “Miguel the Strong”
Sadly in the early hours of Monday June 21, Miguel Siale Henry Hunkin, slipped away from this life, 5 days short of his 6th birthday.
Born with a rare condition called Emanuel Syndrome, Miguel faced many battles & endless operations in his short life - more than any person should have to endure. His parents Melenaite Fifita & Myles Hunkin, had to move from Sydney to Auckland so he could receive the best care possible.
Miguel was a funny little guy full of attitude. He loved playing with his cousins, aquariums & watching the fish swim around, listening to his Pa play guitar for him, all the attention he received of his Aunty’s & Uncles, tickles from his Dad & cuddles from his Mum.
With Myles having to move back to Australia, the current global situation making flights expensive and now with this unexpected expense of planning for a funeral with other expenses, we are asking for any donations to help relieve the added monetary burden this family is going through.
We ask if you can make a donation of any kind, so that “Miguel the Strong” can get the last celebration of his life that he truly deserves.
“Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted.”
Matthew 5:4
