It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden and heartbreaking passing of our dear Michael VanKirk. His loss was unexpected, and the pain has been overwhelming for everyone who knew and loved him.

Michael was so many things to so many people. He was a loving husband, a devoted father, a trusted friend, a proud U.S. Army veteran and forever US Marine Corp who bravely served his country in two wars. He gave so much of himself—both in uniform and in his everyday life.

Michael had a way of making people feel safe, supported, and understood. His strength, kindness, and sense of duty will never be forgotten. The world feels quieter without him, and his absence leaves a space that can never truly be filled.
