In memory of Michael Tiezzi

Our names are Dan and Karen (Dickinson) Moore. Many of you know us as lifelong residents of Deep River. If you know us, you know that we love and cherish our family deeply and this includes our many nieces and nephews. It is for them that we write this and we thank you for your time and consideration.
Sadly and unexpectedly, we lost someone very dear to us on July 15, 2020. Michael Tiezzi (57) was our former brother-in-law, Dan's best friend, and father to our niece and nephews; Troy Tiezzi(23), Madison Tiezzi (20), and Carter Tiezzi (17). Michael was also father to their eldest brother, Aaron Tiezzi.
Michael, a navy veteran, was very well known and loved for his great sense of humor, loving nature, and devotion to his children. He is greatly missed by his partner, Paulette Heft and her 3 daughters whom he loved like his own. He had a very strong core group of friends to whom he was very dear.
Michael and his sister, Ellen McDougall, were raised in Chester Connecticut where he recently became a new home owner of which he was very proud.
Michael was an extremely hard worker and had a long career in construction currently working at Mohawk and previously employed at Zanardi Construction, Hallahan Construction, and American Industries.
Perhaps the accomplishment that Michael is most "well known" and admired for is his dedication to coaching Tri- Town Youth Football. He spent many years devoting his time and passion for football to countless young people in Chester, Deep River and Essex and was proud to hold the title, COACH!
Numerous people have asked since Michael's passing.... "What can we do for the family".....
Asking for monetary donations has never been in our comfort zone, but we feel that creating this page will not only help financially support Michael's children, it will also give his friends, peers, and community a platform to honor him and offer their support and appreciation.
After the sudden loss of their Dad, Michael's children now find themselves with financial burden. Funeral costs, every day expenses and costs of living, and anticipation of future expenses and bills have abruptly become "heavy weights to bear." Their young adult lives are just beginning and we ask for your generosity to keep them thriving… now and in the future.
Please consider donating to the Tiezzi family and remember that even the smallest amount will help out immeasurably. Even Michael's "fur baby", Blue, would benefit from your support.
We thank you so much for reading and for your consideration.
Please continue to pray for Aaron, Troy, Madison, Carter and all of Michael's loved ones as they maneuver through this difficult time.
Help us get the word out by sharing this link to your Facebook timeline.
Our most heartfelt thanks,
Dan and Karen Moore
