We’re very sad to share that Michael has passed away. In his memory, and instead of sending flowers, we’re asking for donations to two causes that were important to him.

Michael cared deeply about mental health, especially the challenges young men face. In loving memory of his nephew Mark Mc Donnell, One of the charities your donation will support is JAMES' PLACE, which provides vital support to young men in suicidal crisis—offering real help when it’s most needed.

Mick had a real passion for sport, and wanted football to be accessible to everyone. In his youth he played for Springfield and then Cobh Ramblers. Therefore the second charity your donation will support is FOOTBALL FOR ALL at Springfield Ramblers, a local program in his hometown of Cobh that opens up the game to children of all abilities, creating a space where everyone can take part and feel included.

All donations will be split equally between these two causes and passed on in Michael’s name. It’s a simple way to reflect what mattered to him and hopefully help others along the way.
