Fundraiser to offset the cost of Funeral Expenses

Dear family and friends,

I am writing to you today to let you know about the sudden loss of my brother-in-law, and Olga's brother, Michael Cortez. The happy and cheerful Father, Son, and Papa Bear went to the hospital about 4 weeks ago after being admitted he went through some medical procedures to find out what was wrong. Last week he was told that he had Stage 4 Cancer. A week later he tragically passed. He passed on March 2nd, 2023. He is now with his father, Joe Cortez, being pranksters in heaven.

The funeral service is currently being planned and the financial costs are starting to add up. Due to the nature of the rising cost I am starting this gofundme page with the blessing of his 2 beautiful Children, Cynthia and Michael Cortez Jr. We as a family want to give Michael the beautiful burial that he rightfully deserves.

We are devastated by Michael's passing and are struggling to find the funds to cover the cost of the service. Based on the quotes they have received, the costs involved in the funeral service for Michael will exceed $12,000.

We will need to pay all funeral costs by March 17th 2023. I’ve started a fundraiser to collect donations for Michael's funeral service.
