Donation protected
We are overwhelmed by the tremendous support recieved after the tragic and unexpected passing of Michael Pletz, a loving husband, father, son, uncle and friend.
Even though Sharon does not want any personal donations on her behalf, we have had numerous inquiries on how to help out. Being that Michael was such a devoted family man, we thought it only fitting to create a scholarship fund for his three beautiful children. Any donations received will be held in trust and used towards their future endeavours.
On April 27th Michael Pletz fell off a ladder while building a swing set for his children, fracturing his foot in 2 locations. In less than a weeks time he began feeling pain in his calf which he figured was from the air cast but went to see a chiropractor who also thought the same. This pain stayed for 3 days until it moved into his back left side and was then excused for muscle tightness and aches from using crutches everyday and constant use of his upper body.
On Wednesday May 8th, Michael collapsed in his family home. Deep Vein Thombrosis (DVT) which led to a Pulmonary Embolism in his lungs tragically took his life. Also commonly known as a blood clot, something so common but yet not something anyone expected in a young healthy individual.
We want to thank everyone for their continued support for Sharon, Kieran, Kinlee and Anika as they navigate through these tough times without their beloved Husband and Daddy.
