It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Michael James Sullivan. In the early morning hours of Tuesday, 12/09/2025, at 1:30 a.m., Michael suffered a sudden ruptured brain aneurysm. Mimi, Michael’s devoted fiancée, was with him, and despite immediate CPR and medical care, his injury was irreversible. Michael was confirmed by doctors to have succumbed to his injuries on 12/10/2025 at 3:56 p.m.
We are creating a GoFundMe to help support the family with medical and memorial expenses, as well as Wyatt’s college fund, during this incredibly difficult time. Any support—whether through a donation or simply sharing the link—is deeply appreciated.
Thank you for keeping Michael and our family in your thoughts and prayers. We truly lost a good one. The ICU staff shared that they have never seen so many people come through for one person—that was Michael. He had the will of a bull and the roar of a lion, yet also the biggest heart. He was the one you called. He was the one who showed up. He made you feel safe. He was the protector. And his family—both blood and chosen—showed up for him throughout his time in the hospital.
Michael, you are so deeply missed already. Although your time here on Earth was far too brief, you left a lasting mark on everyone whose path you crossed. We ask that you continue to watch over Wyatt, Mimi, and your family. The family you built over your four decades on Earth will continue to watch over and support them. We promise to protect them, lift them up, and surround them with love.
We know that nothing gave you more pride and purpose than assuming the role of father. With Wyatt being just shy of four years old, we promise to never let your memories, love, and story fade. Wyatt will always know who his daddy is and remember the love you have for him.
When Wyatt learned that your organs may help others live, he said, “Like a superhero?!?” Mimi replied, “Yes—do you have a name and a color costume for him?” Wyatt said you are a superhero in a red and blue suit with a lightning flash and called you “Super Michael Daddy.”
We send you off with so much love, Super Michael Daddy.
We know you love Wyatt and Mimi to the moon and back, to infinity and beyond—forever and ever—and they will always remember that.
