With heavy hearts, we share the sudden and devastating loss of Michael Kruse at the young age of 53 years old. Mike suffered a heart attack on November 26, 2025, in Buffalo, NY. Anyone who knew him could see what a light he was in this world. Mike was the best father to Dakota, husband to Tricia, brother to Kim, son, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend.

Mike’s life was defined by service and compassion. He joined the Air Force after high school & served in Desert Shield and Desert Storm during the Gulf War. He worked with Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA), and he chaired at the Buffalo VA Chapter, where he tirelessly advocated for fellow veterans. He was also an avid Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres fan.

We are raising funds to ease the burden that his family will now be facing. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference and allow them to focus on healing and being together.
