In Memory of Michael Higgins

The family has not requested this, but there has been such an overwhelming outreach of support from so many facets, we felt this was the most convenient way for people who feel they want to do something.

We have created this Fundraiser to help with the financial burden laid upon the Higgins family. Tracy Higgins is a ray of sunshine at our Nelnet office, bringing joy and happiness to work each and every day. She is always the first to extend a helping hand to a fellow co-worker or friend.

Sadly, she unexpectedly lost her son Michael August 19, 2021 at the age of 22. Tracy describes Michael as a teddy bear of a man with a heart full of peace. Please consider donating to help the family cover funeral expenses and their bills for the next few months.
