Early Monday morning, my step-father, Michael, passed away. Michael, or Uncle Mike to some, was a very outgoing and happy person. If you had the chance to talk to him, you would know how much he loved to tell stories about his past or talk about almost anything. Michael was not only a father figure for me for the last 13 years, but a loving husband to my mother, Alicia. If you know my mom, you know how kind and selfless she is. The two of them complemented each other and brought out the best in one another.
