My name is Marcela, I am Michael’s girlfriend. Michael passed away on November 10th, 2022.

Michael struggled with PTSD for many years and sadly he lost his battle. He was a father, a son, a brother, a partner, and a friend to many. He could light up a room with his laughter and had a heart of gold which could make anybody’s day shine brighter.

Michael was a proud Marine who served eight years in the service and did three tours to the Middle East. After his honorable discharge from the Marine Corps, Michael spent 12 years with the National City Police Department, in San Diego, CA. His passion was to serve the public and was a K-9 handler working side by side with his K-9 Brando. He and Brando are back together now and patrolling again.

I’m asking for your help to assist with his funeral memorial costs. Any donation would be greatly appreciated and will go a long way.
