We are creating this fundraiser in honor of Merinda Henderson, whose life was tragically taken due to a violent act. No family should ever have to experience the pain, heartbreak, and loss caused by senseless violence.

This fundraiser is being created to support Merinda’s loved ones during this difficult time. A portion of the proceeds will go toward funeral and memorial expenses to help ease the financial burden on the family as they grieve and lay her to rest with dignity and love.

In addition, part of the funds raised will go toward bringing awareness to domestic violence and violence against women. Too many women lose their lives to violence, and we want Merinda’s story to not only be remembered, but to help shine a light on an issue that affects countless families and communities.
