In memory of Mercedes Amelia: Funeral Support

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mercedes Amelia Malaga Castillo. A mother, sister, beloved family member, and friend to many. Mercedes left us in the late afternoon of Friday, January 24th after a sudden health complication. She passed surrounded by the full & attentive love of some close family and friends.

As they navigate this heartbreaking time, the family is also faced with the financial burden of funeral and memorial expenses. We are asking for your support to help ease some of this burden so that the family can focus on grieving, healing, and celebrating the life of our beloved Mercedes Amelia.

Any contribution, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated. Mercedes Amelia was a determined woman who accomplished much in her life and career as a Clinical Social Worker. She loved to travel, garden, and spend time with those she held dear. Always one to reach out and care selflessly for friends, family, or clients. Mercedes Amelia taught us that we heal in community. And it is in her honor that we thank you for your generosity and support during this difficult time.
