My mother is Melissa Mendoza who was taken from us far too soon at just 47 years old. Her passing was sudden and unexpected, and it has left a space in our lives that can never truly be filled.
She leaves behind her two daughters me, Nichole, and Elizabeth as well as her grandchildren: Victoria, Jay, Delilah, Anayeli, Fernanda and Liliana.
My mom was more than just a mother—she was a source of comfort, strength, and unconditional love. She had a way of making people feel safe and understood, whether through her words, her actions, or simply her presence. She gave so much of herself to others, often without asking for anything in return.
Although her life was shorter than it should have been, it was full of meaning. She loved deeply, she cared fiercely, and she left behind memories that will continue to live on in all of us. Her legacy is not measured by the years she lived, but by the love she gave—and that love is endless.
We will miss her more than words can say. But we will honor her by remembering her, by speaking her name, by laughing at the memories she gave us, and by loving each other as she loved us."

Se entregó muchísimo a los demás, a menudo sin pedir nada a cambio.
Aunque su vida fue más corta de lo que debería haber sido, estuvo llena de significado. Amó profundamente, cuidó con fervor y dejó recuerdos que seguirán vivos en todos nosotros. Su legado no se mide por los años que vivió, sino por el amor que brindó, y ese amor es infinito. La extrañaremos más de lo que las palabras pueden expresar.
