In Memory of Melissa: Aid for the Bushey Family

Support the Bushey Family after the unexpected and tragic loss of Melissa

Bushey-Doolan. Melissa, passed away unexpectedly on February 14th, leaving behind

a loving Husband, Mother, Niece, Nephew, her beloved fur babies, and many more.

Melissa was a kind, sweet, caring soul, she would put a smile on your face any chance

she could. She may be gone but she will forever hold a place in everyone's heart. We

will forever cherish our moments turned into memories. For those that know Melissa she

never asked for anything especially a dime, however Melissa’s sister Kimberly passed

shortly before this. As our family is still in mourning and trying to navigate all the

changes we are asking for some extra support with burial and funeral services. There's

power in numbers as these complicated times have shown, and we truly appreciate any

and everyone who has become part of our village. As Melissa’s Mother I’d like to

express and share my gratitude for everyone's generosity. There's not a day I didn't talk

to my daughter whether it was calling to wake her up, gossiping or even celebrating

holidays and life moments when we couldnt be together. No matter what Melissa was

doing or where she was she always made it feel as if she was right there with you. After

the loss of my first child I never expected to feel this level of pain or emotion again, to

have lost another daughter in such a short period of time is nothing I ever wish for

anyone to experience. As life continues I am grateful for you all supporting me and my

family through these times and continuing to try and be there for us no matter how small

the deed. I know Melissa is now at peace with her sister Kimberly and watching us all

from afar shining her love and kindness down on us.
