In Memory of Megan Woodward
Donation protected

On Thursday September 28th, Megan Woodward was involved in an accident that ultimately resulted in her untimely and tragic death. Megan left behind a wonderful husband and two young daughters, 7 years old and twenty-one months.
Megan was a devoted and loving mother, wife, friend, and teacher. She left a lasting impression on everyone she met and made a positive impact in lives of others. Megan has been one of my closest and dearest friends for the past four years.
Megan was an English teacher at Southport High School, and prior to Southport was a Special Education teacher at North Central High School in Farmersburg, IN and a teacher with the Vigo County school system. Megan had the conviction to make a positive and lasting impressions in her students' lives. She strived to become a better teacher and to make a difference. Her loss has created a devastating hole in many people's hearts and her role in their lives will never be replaced.
For anyone who knew Megan, she was a great friend. She helped many through countless trials, providing all who knew her with an affirming voice and courage to make decisions that many wouldn’t have made without her encouragement. Her passion and vitality for life was infectious. She was a joy to be around, could lighten up the roughest of situations, and will be missed by many. Loved ones, students, parents and coworkers can attest to her character and the legacy she left behind.
A caring and loving family, two daughters whom were treasured by their mom, and a husband are now left with the largest void. This gofundme is created to give back to someone who has given her all to others. Wes gave me permission to create this campaign on the behalf of his wonderful wife, Megan. The money raised will be given to her husband Wes and two children, to determine how to appropriately utilize the funds.

If you have anything that you would like to donate to help assist her family during these dark times it would be greatly appreciated. Please remember Megan and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
