In memory of Megan For Mikaela
On May 1st, 2020, My beautiful sister, Megan Marie Traub passed away unexpectedly. Megan was unlike anyone else. She was so vibrant and full of life. Those who knew Megan knew that she had a loving heart. She loved her family so much and she was always my protector, even when we butt heads. I was always the serious one, until Megan would tell me to lighten up or she would laugh. Her laugh was so contagious. You couldn’t be in the same room with her without laughing yourself because she knew how to make the room brighter. She never shy’d away from being who she was. Megan knew who she was and she didn’t care what anyone else thought. She lived life and I will admire her for that. 
Unfortunately, She leaves behind her daughter, Mikaela Traub. Mikaela is an amazing girl who we love more than anything and she is still processing this all. We want to make sure Mikaela is surrounded with incredible support and family. Many people have asked about donations. My mother plans to set up a savings account for Mikaela but for now, if you should like to make a donation, all proceeds from this GoFundMe shall go directly to Megan’s daughter Mikaela. If you’d prefer to send a card or flowers, you can also message me and I can provide you an address to direct them too.
Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus, we are unable to have a full service for Megan. While we are saddened that we cannot include everyone in saying last goodbyes, we will have a celebration of her life at a later date when we are not on social distancing lockdown. My family is thankful for the outpouring of love and messages we have received. If we haven’t respond to you, it is only because we are trying to process and plan everything out for our Megan.
