In Memory of Megan Edwards

Hi there, my name is Wayne and this GoFundMe page is a memorial to Megan - daughter to my dear friends Mandy and Gaz, sister to Beth, fiancé to Brad and mother to 3 month old Amelia. Megan's passing was completely unexpected and has left family and friends devasted and in a state of total shock. She was a beautiful, spirited and happy young lady in the prime of her life - celebrating being a new mum and looking forward to her life ahead and was taken far too early at the age of 21 years old. Everyone that knew Megan couldn't help but love her - she has many friends and since her passing there have been many tributes to how kind and caring she was. Always had time to listen to others and would always do her best to help anyone. She was also a big West Bromwich Albion fan - she was a season ticket holder for many years. Every home game she would be there with her dad and grandad Malc - normally cheering very loudly for someone so petite! The reason for me starting this fundraiser is two-fold. Firstly it'll help raise some money towards the cost of Megan's funeral. Secondly, although there will be no shortage of family and friends to love and care for Amelia, having only one parent will be tough at times, and I think that some of the money raised should go towards her future. Many of us feel a sense of helplessness at the moment. I know many of us have said that we're there if needed, but not sure what we can really do to help. We can't unfortunately share the burden of what the family are going through at the moment, but hopefully by doing this we can at least help a little. Thanks for reading. Wayne x
