Hi, my name is Gabriela. I am raising funds for Animal’s hope Rescue in Guatemala.

While travelling in Guatemala this November, I came across an almost lifeless dog, I named her Maya. I travelled 4 hours with her to the city.

I reached out to Priscila at Animals hope for help with the dog. Without hesitation her and her husband met me at my hotel and took little Maya. They nursed her back to health and the plan was for me to adopt and bring her to Canada. Maya went from 7lbs to 24lbs in their care. Unfortunately, Maya came down with an illness we couldn’t cure. She had 3 months of nurturing, love and compassion from Priscila and her husband in a loving home. I will be forever grateful for these human angels that do so much for these vulnerable animals.

The rescue has over 100 strays. They don’t have space so the animals are kept at her home and at the home of other volunteers. They fight daily for these animals to have a better life. Their ultimate goal is to get them adopted.

Now that Maya has crossed the rainbow bridge, I wish to help Priscila. Your small donation can help the many dogs she saves daily.
