In Memory of Matty

Dear family and friends


It is with a sad and heavy heart we mourn the passing of our dear brother and friend Matthew Ryan Clark Neill. Brother to Dawn, Nikki, Sonny and Sam, Uncle to DJ and friend to many. He was a true gentleman with an absolute heart of gold.

As you may know, Matthew was involved in a tragic motorcycle accident on Wednesday 26th July and passed away peacefully with his family by his side the next day. His birthday is on Friday 3rd August, he would only be 31.

If you know Matt, you know he has the sweetest smile, a happy soul and passionate for life, he was everyone’s little brother.  His family meant the world to him and sadly this happened close to the home he shared with his sister, bother-in-law and nephew. His family feel peace knowing he has been reunited with their mum Carmen, who sadly passed 10yrs ago this month. May they both rest in peace.

Matthew’s family are overwhelmed with the love and support they have received from you all.
It is comforting to know he touched so many lives and the messages of support have been received from all around the world. Our grief is shared with many and we appreciate your condolences.

The family gives huge thanks to the amazing friends who have generously offered to pay for funeral costs and help give Matt the send off he deserves.  The support from everyone will forever remain in their hearts.

A lot of people have asked how they can help, so we have set up this account in Matthew’s name. 

If you would like to contribute towards memorial costs and short term help for the family this would be appreciated in lieu of funeral flowers, this would help the family stay in their home and around friends whilst they take the time to grieve.
