In Memory of Matthew Snooks

Donation protected
Our beautiful brother in law Matthew Snooks sadly passed away peacefully at home with his wife Rachel at his side on Wednesday 3rd February 2021.
Unfortunately due to Covid restriction Matthew will not receive the send off he deserves.
After receiving many offers to contribute from family and friends, Sarah and I have set up this page for anyone who would like to make a donation to help ease the financial pressure of an unexpected funeral at this heartbreaking time.
Matthew battled with a rare genetic illness for the last 8 years which resulted in a Bone Marrow transplant that failed.
Most of you will not have known about Matthews illness as he showed so much strength throughout, even though this included numerous trips to King's hospital London and weekly transfusions in hematology unit at UHW.
Never once did Matthew complain, he was a true fighter and continued to work full time throughout.
Matthew's condition deteriorated over the last six months where the genetic condition have affected his liver, lungs, and heart.
Matthew was admitted New Years Day very unwell and was given the devastating news that there was nothing more they could do to treat him.
Matthew came home Wednesday 20th January to spend his final days with Pallative Care in place at his home with his Wife Rachel by his side.
Matthew fought for so long but sadly gave up the fight on Wednesday 3rd February 2021.
