In Memory of Mary Ann Schmitt

Mary Ann devoted her career to teaching and empowering students with learning disabilities. Her last 4 years of teaching, Mary Ann worked with students at Dobie Middle School in Austin ISD - students who primarily came from impoverished home environments. She was concerned at the lack of technology access for her students.  Mary Ann believed technology was a critical learning tool for students with learning disabilities as well as an important media to master given the world these students live in today. To honor her and her students, we have set up this Go Fund Me account to make technology access for these students a reality. Funds raised will be used to purchase devices specifically for students served by the special education department at Dobie Middle School.
