In Memory of Marn: Aid for His Loved Ones
Donation protected
It is with deep sadness that we, Marn's basketball family at FSAJAX, share the news of his passing. Marn was a beloved member of our team, whose passion for basketball and dedication to mentoring the kids in our program left an indelible mark on all of us. Whether filming games, cheering from the sidelines, or offering guidance to players, Marn's enthusiasm and encouragement were felt by everyone in the basketball family. His commitment to the sport and his community was unwavering, and he was always there to lend a helping hand.
Marn's presence will be deeply missed, and we know his family and friends will have much more to say about the extraordinary man he was. He leaves behind his wife, Marilyn Bartolazo Balolong, and their children: Maya, Marc, and Mateo, who were the light of his life.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, December 22, from 5 PM to 8 PM at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery, located at 850 St Johns Bluff Rd N, Jacksonville, FL 32225. A funeral mass will take place on Monday, December 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM at San Juan Del Rio Catholic Church, located at 1718 FL-13, Jacksonville, FL 32259.
We created a GoFundMe to help support the family during this difficult time. Your contributions will be greatly appreciated as they navigate the challenges ahead.
Marn’s legacy of mentorship, love for basketball, and unwavering support will live on in the hearts of his basketball family and all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
