I have known Mark for almost 20 years as we have worked side by side. He mentored me and looked after me as a big brother would have. He loved my kids as if they were part of his family and would routinely check in on me even when we were working on opposite sides of the country. We have shared many laughs, good times, and some difficult times as friends.
Mark was man who lived life to the fullest. Be it travel, running his horse ranch, pursuing his pilots license, sailing, or running large construction projects. I remember him being a person who was all-in no matter what the endeavor! All of you would see that passion in your relationships with him but in the end he was ultimately a person who would do anything for you.
Since his marriage (Cherry) and daughter’s (Markie) arrival Mark would routinely mention to me how important it was for him to make sure they were always taken care of. We all understand this as parents and spouses. As I reach out to all of you I ask that you help ease some of the financial burden that will come with Mark's sudden passing. No amount of money will replace Mark as a father and husband but in speaking to many of you over the past week it seemed appropriate to give you this mechanism to help Cherry and Markie. I thank you in advance for your generosity.
