It is with profound sadness that we share the sudden and unexpected passing of Mark Fredrickson, who would have celebrated his 43rd birthday on June 1st.

Mark was a beloved son, brother, loving partner in life to Lauren and devoted father to his two beautiful daughters, Olivia (9) and Charlotte (4). He was also a respected professional in the substance abuse recovery community, dedicating his life to helping others through his work with Second Chance Sobriety Homes. Mark made a lasting impact on countless lives with his compassion, strength, and unwavering commitment to recovery.

Beyond his incredible heart and contagious laugh, Mark was known for his signature style—he had a soft spot for funky socks and Ferragamos! A combination that perfectly captured his fun personality. He loved Muay Thai and punk rock, fronting his band and winning local fights. This fighter was balanced, also giving loving generosity to so many. Whether he was mentoring someone on their path to sobriety or simply making someone laugh with his quick wit, Mark had a way of making everyone feel seen, heard, and valued.

His passing has left an unimaginable void in the lives of his family—especially his partner Lauren, and their two young girls. As their primary provider, the sudden loss of Mark has created significant financial stress during this already heartbreaking time.
