In Memory of Mark Brian Potter

Donation protected

It is with deep sadness that I reach out on behalf of our very dear friend Mark Potter who passed away unexpectedly June 23, 2023. Mark had recently been diagnosed with lung cancer and unfortunately suffered a severe reaction from chemotherapy that took him from us. He was 58 years old.
Mark was a caring and loyal friend who showed true concern for everyone he knew. He shared his deep wisdom, amazing sense of humor and beautiful soul with so many. Whether you knew him from work, his younger years or perhaps only a stranger in passing, his wonderful spirit was always evident as he extended his kindness to everyone. Mark was a proud Army veteran, a lover of music and books and enjoyed writing poetry. He will be so greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
Mark leaves behind his dear daughter Erin Potter, loving mother and father in law Angie and Don Myrick, brother, Robert Potter, sisters Cathleen (Michael) Ruthruff and Colleen (Charles Simpson) Murphy; nieces Amberly Myrick and Taryn Simpson and nephews Sean and Ian Potter.
He was predeceased by his wife Donna Myrick-Potter who he so lovingly cared for until her death in December of 2021.
So many of you have asked what you can do to help during this time. On his family’s behalf I am reaching out to request assistance for them in covering his funeral expenses. All money donated will go directly to his daughter Erin to help ease any worries about these upcoming needs.
Thank you so much for your thoughts and concerns for Mark’s family as they navigate this very difficult time
