With heavy hearts, we share the passing of my beloved husband, Mark Alberts, who left us on March 10, 2026.

Mark was a proud United States Air Force veteran, a devoted and loving father to our children, and truly the life of every room he entered. Through his passion for being a DJ as “Dj Phantom,” he brought people together, created joy, and filled countless moments with music, laughter, and love. Whether it was the way he could light up a crowd or bring people to their feet, Mark had a gift for making people feel alive.

To know Mark was to feel his energy, his warmth, and his deep love for family and community.

While we may never fully understand why someone so full of life chose to leave us so suddenly, we hold onto the belief that God called him home for a greater purpose.

As a family, we are also choosing to speak openly about something that often goes unseen—mental health. Depression does not have one face. It can look like anyone. It looked like Mark. By sharing this, we hope to raise awareness and remind others that no one is alone.

During this incredibly difficult time, we are working to support our children and make arrangements to honor Mark’s life. If you are able, we would be deeply grateful for any support, whether through donations, prayers, or simply sharing this message.
