In memory of Maricar Salinel

Hello, my name is Kathleen Salinel. I am the only child of Maricar and Mariano Salinel. She was born in Castilla, Sorsogon (Philippines) and immigrated to the United States in the late 80s. My parents were married for 30 years. She was in healthcare for over 20 years and recently worked at Cooper University Hospital.

My mother passed away unexpectedly on March 6, 2024 due to brain herniation from an intracranial hemorrhage. She passed peacefully and was surrounded by her loved ones.

Our family is devastated by my mother’s sudden loss and not prepared for the high cost of her funeral service. We want to give her the memorial she deserves to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes. Any amount will truly help our family during this difficult time.

Please join us in remembering and honoring her life. A viewing will be held at John F. Givnish Funeral Home (10975 Academy Road Philadelphia, PA 19154) from 6-8pm on Friday, March 15th. 

 The funeral service will be on Saturday, March 16. A viewing from 10-11am will be held at Christ the King Church (3252 Chesterfield Road Philadelphia, PA 19114) followed by a mass at 11am.
