With love and memories of Maria Theresa Camarillo

Maria Theresa passed away last February 26, 2019 at the South Health Campus Hospital at the age of 46. She was the dearest wife of Ramon III Camarillo and a beloved mother of 3 children; Thea, Christian, and Prince. She was originally from the Philippines, and in 1993, she married Ramon. She left Ramon and the 3 young children to work in Hong Kong in 2007 to provide for them better. Eventually, in 2010, she had the opportunity to go to Canada to work as a nanny. In 2015, she finally was reunited with her husband and her children, all of whom lived in Calgary.


Maria Theresa was described as the rock of her family; she was caring, loving, and a selfless person who made a life for her family through her sacrifices. When she was diagnosed with a stage 4 colon cancer in December 2017, her family was her immense source of support. Maria Theresa lived a God-centred life. Faith has been a great part of her life and has helped her with the acceptance of her illness. She believed that the acute pain her family will feel would be healed and they will be comforted by her prayers after her departure.


As you all are aware, Maria can't work due to her illness after she was diagnosed and Ramon was unable to work as well since he took on the responsibility as a husband to take care of her — which created a huge financial burden for the family and I am certain we can all do something to help them cover the funeral costs.
