In Memory of Marcus Warner, Sr.

Donation protected

On March 21st, Marcus gained his heavenly wings, leaving a void in the hearts of the many who already knew him as a true angel here on earth. Marcus was a son, husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, son in law, and friend to so many who deeply mourn his loss. To know Marcus was to admire him. He was inexplicably filled to the brim with good, in such a way that it poured out of him and onto everyone he knew and loved. His eyes were a perfect reflection of his soul- kind, gentle, welcoming, & warm, yet intriguingly unique & truly unforgettable. Marcus’ family says that although he was the baby boy, he “was the one who did everything right”. He was always eager to help, dependable, and never had an ill word, yet spoke only encouragement and love.

Marcus recently graduated from a PTA program and was a new father to a beautiful, 7 month old baby boy who shares his father’s unique and captivating blue eyes. Cathiana, his wife and soulmate, has shared that those little eyes lit up in the most loving and exciting way every time Marcus JR. saw his father- as if, through those eyes, they shared an unspoken language only they could understand. Little Marcus and the rest of the family are now, unimaginably, left to pick up pieces to a life that Marcus helped build.

The family, who selflessly shared such a wonderful person with us, needs our support in meeting financial obligations that will enable them to not only lay Marcus to rest, but to have the proper examination to ensure his untimely, unexpected passing is not something that could be a concern for his son in the future. There is no dollar amount that can replace someone such as Marcus nor fill the unimaginable heartbreak his family currently feels. However, we can pour back some of the love, selflessness, and generosity that Marcus freely gave and alleviate the financial burden so that they may focus on healing as a family. Any amount, prayer, or kind word is so deeply appreciated and received with gratitude that cannot be expressed with words.

Thank you.
