In Memory of Marc Kieffer

UPDATE - I am blown away by the kindness and generosity being shown to Le Anne and the kids during this incredibly hard time. Knowing how very much Marc is loved, and seeing the donations given to continue to support Elle and Rhys, lifts a bit of the weight and helps the family keep going. They are so appreciative! Marc's brother Jimmy asked me to raise the goal again as he has more friends who would like to contribute, and I'm happy to do so. Thank you all!

UPDATE - Le Anne shared with me this morning that she is incredibly grateful and emotionally moved by all the thoughts, prayers and donations she, Elloree and Rhys have received through this fund raiser. While nothing erases the heartbreak of laying Marc to rest, your kindness and incredible generosity have provided some much needed light in their world. Thank you all for the support and love you continue to provide. Although the initial "goal" has been surpassed, I will keep this open for anyone that would like to contribute in honor of Marc.

On April 2nd, our world dimmed as Marc "traveled on" after an 18 month battle against pancreatic cancer. He was a light in this world, always ready for a new business idea, an off-the-beaten track adventure, or an afternoon spent at the movies. I always said everyone needed a friend like Marc, someone who charged through life with a smile and took you with him - whether you thought you wanted to go or not!

Marc's greatest joy and purpose in life were his children, Rhys (18) and Elloree (16). He loved to see them living their dreams; whether it be fishing and automobiles for Rhys or soccer for Elle. His lasting wish was that they continue to be able to pursue their passions, further their educations, and continue to be safe and secure.

Friends, it is now our turn to step up. Le Anne would be blessed by any contributions you are able to give and will use the donations to fulfill Marc's wishes. In this time of immense grief and loss, giving from our hearts will help Marc's light continue to shine and bring a measure of peace to the family.
