Hello, my name is Monica, daughter of Manuel Jara. My dad originally had a stroke back in August 16,2025. After going under two successful surgeries, he had his final surgery 2/5/2026 to place a titanium material in his head to shape his head again since the surgeries left a dent in his head since a partial piece of brain was removed. Surgery went well, but unfortunately after surgery, he got another stroke. Bigger than the original one. After confirming with MRI scans, it was confirmed that he will most likely not wake up anymore. They call it a “catastrophic stroke” because it was so massive. At this time, they have mentioned his brain being dead. In a couple hours they will proceed to do “brain dead testing.” As of now, I do not know what the next steps will be but it’s looking like he will soon meet the Lord. I just want to get ahead and start arrangements for what’s to come. My father leaves behind 6 children, 2 grand daughters, and 2 grandsons and a wife. Their 38th wedding anniversary would have been next week and he was so excited to have his shaped for his anniversary.Two things they confirmed, is that he did not suffer and he is not in pain. We have hope in reuniting with him one day again. It won’t be a goodbye but a see you soon. He will forever be loved. If you know my dad, you know how much he loves the Lord and will be just fine.
