In Memory of Mama (Lollie Valido) COVID-19

Donation protected
Lollie Valido lived a healthy beautiful life with the family she created. She has always put everyone first before herself and never failed to put a smile on your face. Her constant warm hugs and comforting messages will never be missed. Her countless memories she's made by watching all the grandchildren will never be forgotten. The most delicious dishes she would bring to every family gathering will forever keep our mouths watering. The amount of appreciation we as a family have for this woman is endless. She was the light in all our lives that will never go out. Mama, we miss you and love you so much.

Unfortunately, she was taken too early from us due to COVID-19. Many families including ours have been affected by this tragedy of a virus tremendously. On December 17, 2020 she was rushed to the hospital (St. Rose Hospital) from a list of symptoms of COVID-19 and was placed in the ICU for treatment. We were all able to FaceTime her the next couple of days and noticed how alert she was and how strong she is. We believed that she was going to get through this, she's one of the strongest women we know. Unexpectedly, her heart rate shot up and oxygen levels started to go down. On December 21, 2020 Lollie Valido passed as we were all on Skype with her. The doctors and nurses did everything they could to keep her with us. We cannot thank them enough for putting their lives at risk and appreciate everyone that made her as comfortable as possible and to continue to help other victims that have been affected. Thank you to nurse Sydney and the rest of the nurses that were constantly being physical support for Mama as we couldn't be there.

Moving forward, we are here for some help to support covering the funeral expenses. This was a very unexpected tragedy that we all never saw coming and anything will help us reach our goal of $5,000 as soon as possible to give the funeral Mama deserves.

She's now reunited with Grandpa Leo and are both sharing plots together. We are happy that they are not separated anymore and there's no more suffering. Other than the plot being taken care of, we are in desperate need of support for the rest of the expenses.

Thank you for taking the time to read Mama's story and wanting to help her family arrange this funeral during this very difficult time. Please everyone stay safe and healthy, and hug your loved ones a little longer.

Mahal Kita Mama.

Sincerely,

Mama's Family.
