My name is Matthew Moua. My mom, Malee Jessica Lor, married my dad, Long Moua, 25 years ago, and had 5 children, Andrew (24), me (21), Pearl, (15), Lucas (8) and Carson (6).

November 11th, my mom dropped me off at work and decided to go shopping directly afterwards. I never imagined that would be the last time I would see my mom alive. My mom had a brain hemorrhage that morning leaving her fighting for her life. The next several days was harder than expected.

Preparing my little sister, the only daughter, that it was only going to get worse. A few more days passed where we had to explain to my two baby brothers that we were saying goodbye to mom. Days turned dark, nights turned numbingly chilly.

My mom was the light that led the way. Everything and everyone she met, she greeted with a smile and left them a little happier. She was the person you went to for advice, for assistance, for a shoulder, to just see so your day wasn't so bad anymore.

My mom made sure we were her priority. That we never needed to want or need anything. That we were loved and cherished. That she always had our backs. Mom, we miss you.

Currently, we are opening this page to share our story, to allow those that wish to contribute to do so, and to ask for prayers, as my mom would have asked for. She now flies with the angels that watch over us.
