In Memory of Magalene Devore

Hello, my name is Ishesha and I’m the daughter of my mother, Magalene (Maggie) Devore, who passed away this Tuesday, September 24th, 2025. She was battling with Type-1 Diabetes and Myositis (recently diagnosed). As best she could take care of herself, her health declined suddenly and she was in and out of the hospitals. She fought hard to recover through surgeries and gain her health back but, she passed away.

My mother was a hard worker for as long as I can remember. Being her only child, I always admired her ability to do what she needed to not only just for me but for those that knew her. She was a kind person with a fierce personality. She loved to talk to anyone she met along the way, laugh with her whole heart and cherish each moment day by day. Last year, she became a first time grandmother to my one year old and when she was able, to help my husband and I look after him with such love and care.

I want to be able to give my mom the beautiful and respectful farewell she deserves, but I need help to cover the remaining expenses as I was not prepared for the unexpected financial cost.
