In Loving Memory of Our Baby Girl, Macie-Mae

On January 15th 2025 our precious daughter Macie-Mae was born sleeping. Our hearts broke that day, but we will always treasure the precious time we were able to spend with her.

Thanks to the gift of a cuddle cot, my husband Liam and I were able to hold her close, take in her beautiful little features, and create memories we will carry forever. That time was priceless, and it brought us comfort during the most devastating moments of our lives.A CuddleCot is a special medical cooling bassinet designed for use in hospitals, hospices, or at home to support families after the death of a baby (stillbirth, neonatal death, or infant loss).

It works by gently cooling the baby, slowing down natural changes that occur after death. This gives parents and families more precious time with their child — often hours or even days — to hold, cuddle, take photographs, create keepsakes, invite loved ones, or perform religious/cultural rituals before saying goodbye.

We would now love to raise funds to donate a cuddle cot in Macie-Mae’s memory, so that other families going through the heartbreak of baby loss can have that same gift of time with their baby.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help us honour our daughter’s memory while supporting parents who, like us, face the unimaginable.
