In Memory of Lynette: Support for the Rios Family

This fundraiser for the Rios Family is being organized by close family and friends of Lynette Rios. Thank you in advance for your help in supporting Lynette's family during this difficult time.

In August 2024, Lynette defied all odds surviving after suffering from a ruptured aneurysm. She made great progress from finally being weaned off a ventilator to gaining the strength to use head nods and her own voice to respond to questions and slowly communicate with loved ones. She fought hard, family and friends didn't lose faith, and she was a miracle right before our eyes as doctors did not think she'd make it! She allowed us 6 extra months to see her regain her ability to smile, say I love you, and even gave some of the most important people in her life hugs and kisses with the strength her body had. We couldn't be more proud of all the strength she put forth. She was SUPERWOMAN!

On February 14th Lynette had a setback at the nursing facility and on February 18th our beautiful Lynette passed away surrounded by family, leaving a void in our hearts. She will be greatly missed by so many- her husband, her children, her grandson, her mother, her sisters, and all other family and friends whose lives were touched by Lynette. We know we will greatly miss her beautiful smile, her kind heart and hugs, and all those delicious meals she cooked with love that were shared with so many. Although our hearts are broken, we are at peace knowing her body and soul are now resting with God and that she is reunited with her loved ones; her dad, her sister, her father in law, and her grandmothers.

We are asking for your support in raising funds to help cover funeral arrangements, allowing her family time to focus on celebrating the beautiful life she lived. If you are unable to support financially, all we ask is for continued prayers in providing peace and comfort for Lynette's family during this time. Lynette touched many lives with her smile, love, and especially her delicious home cooked meals. The Rios Family truly extends their sincere gratitude for all the prayers and words of comfort being sent their way.
