As we all know, Luz was a beautiful, bright, genuine, and kind heart. Luz was an amazing friend to many! She was beautiful inside and out and always had a smile, no matter what she was going through. Luz was the friend that was always there when you needed her. She had a heart of gold. So many of us have been blessed with the opportunity to have known such a beautiful soul.

On August 29th, 2022, Luz passed away suddenly. She was only 48 years young, with a whole future ahead of her. In memory of her, we have created this fundraiser to help her family. They are not only going through this difficult time with the passing of Luz, but on Friday, September 2nd, 2022, they also lost their son Kevin, Luz's brother, to terminal cancer.
