My best friend lost her husband unexpectedly yesterday. Many people reached out to me asking how they could help. Financial expenses are not something her and her family should have to worry about in their time of grief. A little bit can go a long way. In lieu of flowers, donations would be much appreciated.

Luke was an incredible human who shined bright wherever he went. He left a mark on everyone he met. I was fortunate to get to call him a friend. He will be missed by so many.

"It is with every piece of many people’s broken hearts that I must tell you that our Luke is gone. My sweet husband left this earth last night. I knew he liked Stairway to Heaven but not that much.

We do not have a cause of death yet, so please don’t ask. I also ask that you be gentle with all of us and our response times. It is unfathomable and will be for a long time to come. Luke will be cremated and in the coming weeks, a celebration of life through love, music, laughter (and probably a generous amount of alcohol) will take place; we will share those details when we have a time/day/place.

Luke was the best parts of us all.. and I will love him to infinity and beyond, forever."
