In Memory of Lorraine Murphy
Donation protected
FAIR LAWN, NJ - Lorraine Murphy (Skovran), age 53, tragically passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2020.
At this point, we want to try and support Lorraine’s family through their many upcoming challenges, especially her daughter, Haley Murphy.
Because this was such a devastating, untimely death, Lorraine was unable to leave behind savings nor any insurance money.
Haley currently works an unpaid internship as a social worker. Simultaneously, she is a consistent Dean’s List student at Seton Hall University, where in just a few months she will become the first generation in her family graduate with a Bachelors’ degree.
Haley hopes to be starting her in career as a social worker in June, and we won’t let anything stop her. We need enough funds to support her until then!
We now need to fund:
Haley’s Food and Housing,
Transportation to her school and internship,
Upcoming costs for graduation,
Expenses till Haley can start her career, and
Finding a new place to situate Haley and John Frusciante, the young cat living Haley.
Some funds will also go to Haley’s family for covering costs of her funeral services and such.
Lorraine was a simple woman, an artist, and a loving soul. She loved God, reading scriptures, and furthering her spirituality. She loved playing Rock music on her Bass, and being with friends.
Beloved mother of Haley Murphy. Loving and devoted daughter of Andrew Skovran and the late Adelaide (Walsh) Skovran. Caring sister of Andy Skovran and wife Kathy and Marc Skovran. Godmother to Madison Skovran and aunt to Mark Skovran Jr. and Mackenzie Skovran. She is also survived by her daughters father Keith Murphy.
The family will receive relatives and friends for memorial visitation on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, 5 – 9 PM at Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home Inc., 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410.
