In Memory of Lorraine Dosela
The sudden and unexpected loss of Lorraine Dosela has left her husband Arvis and their seven children, Kris, Kristen, Starsha, Dawn, Lani, Joseph, Sarah completely heartbroken. Lorraine was a primary wage earner in the family, so in addition to coping the loss, our family must figure out our financial future. Joseph-10 years old, and Sarah-8 years old, the youngest of her children are both wonderful students and love and miss their mother dearly. She has always expressed the importance of higher education, and she has always encouraged her children that they continue In all their educational endeavors.
Lorraine was a woman who was able to touch many hearts where ever she worked. She spent some time working for Gila River Casinos. But she found her passion of working with the youth when she was an advisor at the GRIC WIA program. She continued to advise many people as a Counselor with GRIC ADAP. She then went on to work with the youth again as a JOM counselor at Tolleson High School and most recently at Betty Fairfax High School.
Many have expressed the help, words of encouragement or motivation they received from our mom when she was their advisor or counselor.
Due to the current COVID pandemic, there will be a private graveside service for our mother on Thursday, July 23, 2020.
In lieu of sending flowers, the family asks that you consider contributing to a scholarship fund for Joseph and Sarah. Any donations received will also assist the family in areas needed to cover cost of financial expenses.
We thank you, and may God Bless you
