In Memory of Lola Tijerina

It is with an extremely heavy heart that I must share this news of the passing of such a beautiful selfless woman, Theodora (Lola) Tijerina. She sadly passed away surrounded by family and an abundance of love midday on September 7th 2021 due to COVID-19. It can be hard asking for a helping hand, but whether you donate or share the link, any help is greatly appreciated.

Lola was a beautiful soul filled with nothing but kindness and selflessness. She lived her life serving her family and the Lord. She brought warmth and light into every room and every heart she encountered. Lola was admitted into the hospital July 29, 2021 due to COVID-19. She fought strong and hard for 41 days straight. Once allowed in, her husband, Gilbert, stayed at her bedside day and night ensuring she was not alone. Needless to say, this time away from home bore a financial burden on her family. With minimal income, and lack of health insurance or life insurance, there will be many forthcoming expenses to endure including funeral, service, headstones, etc… We ask if you are willing or able please share the link or donate, anything small or big is appreciated.

Lola leaves behind her husband, Gilbert, four children, Gilbert Jr., Carlos, Eli, and Monica along with 13 grandchildren. Please keep the Tijerina family in your thoughts and prayers.
