In Memory of Liz Tomlinson, in lieu of flowers
Donation protected
This page is in memory of Liz Tomlinson who passed away from cancer aged 52 on the 27th July 2021, surrounded by her family at home. Liz was a devoted and extremely proud mother of three children; Victoria, Clare and James, a loving, loyal and supportive wife of 32 years to her husband Kevin and a dedicated, caring, extremely empathetic and much-loved health professional for all of her working life. Words can not describe either the extent to which she positively impacted on the lives of everyone that knew her or come close to describing how much she will be missed. Her wonderful and unique legacy of empathy, positivity and happiness combined with her steely determination in the face of adversity, will live on through the many lives that she touched. The world is simply a poorer place without Liz in it.
In lieu of flowers, her family are asking for donations that will be shared equally between her chosen charities;
Withybush General Hospital – (Specifically Ward 10, Oncology)
Paul Sartori Foundation
The Robin Cancer Trust
Liz grew increasingly keen to support these charities as her illness progressed. She spent a lot of time on ward 10 and was so appreciative of all of the staff. The Paul Sartori Foundation were a massive support to Liz and the whole family during her last few weeks.
Liz’s initial diagnosis was ovarian cancer and she very much wanted to do her bit to support The Robin Cancer Trust and to spread awareness of the symptoms of ovarian cancer. To this end we encourage everyone to watch this video; https://youtu.be/3E3u0fcvgtY
There is no target set and every donation is appreciated
